Women in the Arts Pod Cast - Bobbi Mastrangelo

Natalia Guerrero interviewed me for a pod cast for Women in the Arts. This was one of the best interviews I have ever had.

Natalia read about me on Wikipedia, the web website and on line. She also read my short SCI- FI adventure about my art going to Mars in 2037. So her questions were very pertinent.

Natalia Guerrero is the producer for AVANT, a podcast by Women in the Arts, Inc. She created AVANT in collaboration with Maria Guerrero, the founder and executive director of Women in the Arts, as an extension of the organization’s mission to “celebrate the genius of women” and provide arts education for all.

Each episode of AVANT highlights the life, work, and impact of a woman artist or art industry leader. The 2021-2022 season includes interviews with artist Bobbi Mastrangelo, curator for art and education at the Mennello Museum of American Art, Katherine Page, and most recently, the executive director of the Orange County Regional History Center, Pamela Schwartz. Guerrero not only explores the day-to-day work and current projects of each guest, but also asks for their practical advice for emerging artists and newcomers to the art industry.

Guerrero has over six years of experience producing creative, thought-provoking audio content. Her previous projects as a producer and radio host include Charles River Variety and Voice Box, two original weekly radio shows with live performances and interviews for MIT’s radio station, WMBR. She is currently pursuing her PhD in astronomy at the University of Florida.
