National Post Card Week is celebrated annually during the first full week of May. Since 1991, I have been a participant, sending out a post card usually based on one of my manhole cover relief works. See my collection: Bobbi Mastrangelo- Postcards -“The Grate Works” -transforms manhole covers, sewers and grates into artistic streetscapes.I exchange post cards with over 130 post card pen pals and save their creations in binder notebooks. Demaris Swint has posted the 2013 NPCW cards: http://www.nationalpostcardweek.com/2013.php

About “City of Orlando” Even before I became a full time resident of Florida, The Orlando Museum of Art, was a favorite “tourist site” with its fascinating art collections. Loch Haven Park’s adjacent antique brick roadway was artful as well.
“City of Orlando” was exhibited in their competition: “Sculpture, the Ultimate Process.” http://bobbimastrangelo.com/MyNews/?p=2200 on January 5, 2012 along with “Buckeye Water Meter Pit Cover” and “Reuse.” Bobbi Mastrangelo-Gallery-Sculpture Relief Small.

Thanks for the postcards, Bobbi, and thanks as always for promoting my book “Manhole Covers.” I will send your extra postcard to my brother in Paris. Hope all is well with you and that your art work is on display.
Take care.

I just received your NPCW card today. It is great (or’grate’). I really enjoyed looking at your work. Great (note, grate) ideas!
I am an artist (retired from other stuff) and mostly draw. But I love sculptural ideas and yours are really interesting. They give me things to think about, which I love.
Thanks and congratulations for your success!
I am still getting my NPCW card together…Should be out to you during 2013 NPCW 5//5-5/11.

Hi Bobbi,
Thanks for your very nice Grate Works NPCW cards. I always enjoy adding them to my collection.
I have all of your cards in my collection. When I retired from the Port Jefferson Free Library I knew that all the vertical files were going to be disposed. We housed your cards in those vertical files, so I rescued them. They are safe and sound and I am happy to have them.
I hope you are well.
Best Regards,

Hi Bobbi,
Your stuff is awesome on internet as well as your post cards.
My husband and sons have a hobby somewhat allied with yours. They search for geodetic survey marks. We look for them when we travel and get good exercise.

If anyone gets a NPCW – Antipodal Card from me in Nov. or December, it’s a “gift”. I didn’t know that designation until today. Once a year just isn’t enough fun for me! 😉
