TOHO WATER AUTHORITY INVITES PUBLIC TO ATTEND
WATER REFLECTIONS ART EXHIBIT (Press Release)
KISSIMMEE FLORIDA: Toho Water Authority is hosting a Water Reflections Art Exhibit geared towards providing a unique opportunity for both water professionals and the community they serve to join together in recognizing the vital role water plays in our daily lives.
The exhibit will continue through May31st, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Toho Water Authority Administration Building located at 951 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Kissimmee, Florida.
Participating artists include local Poinciana artist Bobbi Mastrangelo who has participated in a variety of challenging themes. Her “Grate Works” collections have won numerous awards and can be found in prominent museum and water authority collections. Ms. Mastrangelo covers such topics as anti-litter, environmental protection, grates, grids, manhole covers, water purity, and conservation. This exhibit features Bobbi’s “Water Works.” A water valve cover is inherent in each creation.
Other participants include members of Gallery One Artists, a local downtown Kissimmee non-profit organization, whose collection of fine art includes watercolors, oils, acrylics, sculptures, glass, jewelry, and photography.
This exhibit highlights National Drinking Water Week (May 1-7, 2011)—an American Water Works Association (AWWA) celebration that has taken place for more than 30 years celebrating the essential roles water plays in our daily life.
