“REUSE”
Miniature Rotating Sculpture: 6″ x 6.5″ square
Bobbi Mastrangelo’s Artist Statement
“REUSE” or Reclaimed Water treats and reuses household wastewater. Our Solivita Community in Poinciana FL uses reclaimed water to irrigate the landscape.
The official color for reclaimed water irrigation system construction is: Pantene Color # 512 for water covers, pipes and even the warning tape. They call it purple, but it looks more like magenta to me.
“Reuse” on a pentagon form is the third in a series of my miniature rotating sculptures. Two sides of the pentagon face the mirror. The important purple pipes indicate Reclaimed Water.
The Words: REduce, REuse and REcycle are reflected backwards, inspiring contemplation about Water Conservation.

Dear Bobbi,
Your Reuse Rotating Sculpture is very impressive!
It’s my favorite so far!
Great message!
It brings back memories of our
teaching days at Smithtown Elementary.
Hugs,

I was over to see the art exhibit at Mill Pond and I saw your piece. It is clever and well thought out!!! It is on a pedestal and looks very nice there. Actually it was the only sculpture there so it created the unusual. I liked it, Bobbi!
There were several pieces that warranted attention and I spent much time looking!!! There are so many artists in the area here. To exhibit at The Mills Pond House would be worthwhile for them.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Marilyn
Such a delight to see your creative scultpture at the Mills Pond Art Show! Your unique multi-dimensional “Reuse” serves as a fascinating vehicle for your environmental message. Congratulations and very best wishes, Sandy Wicker
Congratulations on your exhibition Bobbi. You are creating important work and are an important artist. Thank you for sharing your dedication and talent. I hope the exhibition is seen by many. All the best, Renee
I love the focus on reclaimed water. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this kind of attention on the topic. Some papermakers seek alternative sources, since we do use a LOT of water! Thanks for the inspiration, Bobbi.
