I’m one of the NAWA artists you contacted by email. I just went to your website and was very impressed with your work. I must admit that until I saw all your works, I had no idea of just how beautiful the patterns in manhole covers could be. But, it’s not just the patterns themselves. It’s what you have done with them that makes them so special.
I expecially liked your fiber art, and the interesting ways you integrated the cover designs into beautiful fiber hangings. I also liked your canvas pieces, with the mystery of the patterns in them. Some of the colors were especially nice in them
I am primarily a watercolorist. You can visit my website at http://www.carolzbrody.com to see my work.
Thanks for letting us know you are out there. Art is very solitary, and it’s nice to connect sometimes. I feel inspired to paint now, just from seeing your work!
