Works on Canvas

Most of the works have a textured background of spackle. A thick-paper pattern of a manhole cover rubbing was adhered over that.
All of the paper edges were hand ripped, which is a very time consuming process. The base color was usually black, some of which showed through as subsequent colors were added.

	“We’re All Connected” began with an actual rubbing of the Telephone Manhole Cover Pattern. Various environmental scenes were collaged over it showing the inter-dependence of plants, animals, and mankind, emphasizing responsible care of our Earth.
